Camera of the Week
The Zorki 4K was Russia's answer to the Leica. The Zorki a very close clone of the Leica using the same M39 mount and rangefinder design. Despite legendary patchy quality control and some functional quirks, nearly 2 million Zorki 4's were produced between 1956 and 1973. Inefficient and tricky as they may be, the technology is the same as the Leicas used by Cartier-Bresson to produce his incredible street images. Leicas are much, much better, but when you get the hang of it, the Zorki becomes an amazing street shooter.
