Cost of Doing Business Calculator
Before you can price a product or service, you need to know your costs to provide it. This CDB calculator is one tool to help you get a handle on those costs. It lists annual expenses independent photojournalists need to account for. But it's only as accurate as your inputs, which can be hard to estimate. The categories do apply to any still photographer, not just photojournalists. CDB Calculator

Lightroom Tip of the Month
I use the Recently Modified folder as a way to keep organized in Lightroom. It is found in the Smart Collections of the Collections panel. The default setting adds photos that were modified in the previous 2 days. Lightroom will then automatically remove them when they are past the 2 day category. Here's the tip....if you double click on the Smart Collection you can change the 2 day limit to however many days you want. I find this an easy and effective way of keeping track of what I am working on.

100 Meter Wide Photograph
100 Meter Wide Photograph.
To create We’re All Gonna Die – 100 meters of existence, photographer Simon Hoegsberg stood on a railroad platform in Berlin for 20 days, photographing 178 strangers. The final result is a 30 inch by 100 meter wide print. Only some of the people were actually aware they were being photographed.
